WHAT HAPPENS DURING A WORSHIP SERVICE?

Services change slightly throughout the year, but there are always readings from the Bible, songs, prayers, a sermon, and the celebration of communion.

CAN I RECEIVE COMMUNION?

Everyone is invited to receive communion and participate fully in worship. We do not turn people away because of age, denominational affiliation, religious background, or any other reason. There are no outcasts, no strangers, and no unwelcome guests.

HOW LONG DO SERVICES LAST?

Services on Sunday mornings are usually about an hour.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Absolutely. Kids are always welcome participate in worship. We have a PrayGround in the front corner of our sanctuary with crayons, paper, and soft toys to aid our youngest worshippers. We also offer Sunday School, which we call, Wonder Play, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month during worship.

DO YOU HAVE A NURSERY?

Yes, we have a nursery. In addition, kids are always invited to be in worship. If your kids get squirmy or impatient during worship, that’s fine.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. It really doesn’t matter.

WONDERING ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY?

There are no stairs required to enter the church. We have wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Large print bulletins and hearing assistance devices are also available. If you have additional questions about accessibility, please contact the church office.

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

You will find plenty of parking upon your arrival and a warm greeting when you come inside. If you are new, one of our greeters will be happy to meet you and help you feel welcome. Coffee or tea is almost always on, grab a bulletin from an usher, and find a seat in the sanctuary. Every Sunday after worship we visit with each other after worship over coffee and snacks.
